Annual trail maintenance on the Millsville end of the Fitzpatrick Mountain trail is planned for Saturday, May 12. Meet in Scotsburn at 9:30 if you’re uncertain about where to meet in Millsville. We plan to work toward where the turbines are atop Fitzpatrick Mountain and then walk back along the trail to our cars. Branches need lopping, a wet area needs to be rerouted or have rocks laid in as stepping stones, sloping the trail in a steep section will make it easier to walk, raspberry canes on the trail need to be dug out. Dress is work clothes, gloves. Tools provided. Bring lunch, water and snacks.
